Movie – Amour: A

Early in the film, the main character recounts a story of his youth where he saw a film that filled him with such deep emotions that he was overcome by them even more so after the film was over. Amour hits hard. It may be the most depressing movie I’ve ever seen. Yet through the intense sadness the film still manages to shine a great many other emotions. Every single character is so genuinely portrayed, and you can’t help feel for each of them.
