Book – Robopocalypse: B-

Having read the excellent World War Z, I may have come into Robopocalypse expecting too much of their similar structures. I even thought a robot apocalypse was much more “realistic” than a zombie one, and might thus make for a more interesting read. Sadly, Robopocalypse suffered from uninteresting characters, most of whom never get a conclusion to their story, including several important ones. The opening act during the robot revolt was exciting and contained notable scenes, but several deus ex machinas begin appearing, (perhaps on purpose to wallow in the pun) and the story suffered from them.
